We took a trip to visit Kevin and family in Coos Bay

I went to two of Kimber's regattas. Willamette crew rowed at both Vancouver, WA and the Regionals were held at Lake Stevens, WA

Visited Trapper in California

We visited Makaila- now 2.5 years old

Kimber left for a semester abroad (junior year) at Deakin University, near Melbourne, Australia. Gretchen's grandchildren, Ashley, Shane, and Emily met us in Portland, and Scott created a wonderful new trellis to complete our backyard.

Gretchen, Ryann and I made a quick visit to see Trapper in California-and we connected with Suzie Williams, a cousin whom I had not seen in over 40 years. We celebrated Gretchen's father, Bill McMonagle, 90th birthday, took a fun train trip with Dave and Carol Thomas, and entertained the Keyes grandchildren on a Seattle visit. Finally, Ryann's friend, Sarah, was married.

Very busy month. Dad visited us for my cousin's son, Jeremy Grady, wedding. Then I took 2 trips: my annual trip to Washington DC where I lobbied for the WRA- preceded by visits to New York City (Yankee game, US Open visit) and Baltimore (George Armistead's grave site). My second trip was a quick one-fly to LA to pick up a car for Gretchen and drove it back via Monterey, CA and the Redwoods
